What was the highlight of Gemma Resort

Comfortable and enjoyable

I will never forget this trip thanks to everyone that is working here we were able to snorkel and see different kinds of sea animals and corals just few steps from the beach ???? they are also quite careful and warning everyone to make sure that nobody ruin the corals or give food to the fishes.. also we had trip to dolphins house and we had wim with them (big thanks to the guys there that took care of everyone and made sure that we had good memories in videos and photos). The restaurant is good the chef was always careful to listen to people’s opinion about food and if they have something more they desire to have ! Rooms are so clean the housekeepers are always careful about minor details

I think this is quite common thing but I didn’t like it anyway that people just wake up and book swimming pool with some towels! The hotels should remove it if people don’t come back after 1 or 2 hours because I saw some people that book place in swimming pool and at the beach in same time !

The room was very comfortable and the pool was very nice. All the waiters were very friendly and helped us pack breakfast that we didn’t have time to eat while we were out diving.The food is delicious and there is a party time in the evening

We spent 8 nights here. The facility is amazing, as the location. Everyone from the staff was super friendly and helpfull. We also got an update to suite free of charge which was great! Highly recommended!

Definitely we will be back....

Starting with the welcome drinks upon arrival from our 8.5 driving hours from Cairo, ending with complementary lunchboxes for our drive back home. Everything was exceptional: Generous hospitality, spacious room, tasty food with lots of varieties, amazing location of the beach with huge consideration for nature, everything was spotless clean, good animation team and great ambiance. Special thanks to all the staff members (reception, chefs/waiters, room service, life guards, animation, managers/supervisors) who made our stay so comfortable & memorable.

Exactly vacation

I have been here with my family for 4 days but i really enjoyed it alot . Food was delicious and variety. Staff were so friendly. People at the reception were so friendly and they welcomed us very well .Rooms are clean. Great view . Animation team are doing great job all day with different program at the evening as well thanks Zeka and his team . I would like to thanks the management for the professional job with great organization . Feels like our second home. Definitely will come back in September. High recommend

The staff was very helpful and friendly all of them trying all the time to keep us very happy Mr. Hany , Mr. Hazem , ZIKA , food was great, animation team so nice, security was excellent Mr. Saliem very good man , I think this place will be my favorite place.

great place for chill and forget everything about ur problems in one word it was charming

swemming pools wide spaces staff food ( amazing ) service hospitality

location is faraway ( no banners ) no entertainment programmes for Egyptians ( e.g. Safari ) music ( most of it was Italian)

Animation team, DJ , italian food and the free all inclusive beverages is super

The stafr are not well trained ,they are not helpful. We asked fot pressing Iron but was not given to us. We asked them to leave us drinking water and boiling kettle at the mini bar but they refused saying that boiling kettle is to be rented at 10€ per week !!! And that we should carry our own water cups from bars and reception area and take it to the room ourselves .however I noticed water were placed by housekeeper to some other clients!!!

Good base for scuba diving in Marsa Alam

Nicely furnished and comfortable rooms. Good service with staff speaking Italian and English. The hotel is located at a nice lagoon. Blue Submarine Divers, the dive shop located in the premises, is much recommended.

Bit akward hotel setup with small swimming pools located in the courtyards of the six housing blocks and two larger, but by no means large, swimming pools. The food while good was not in par with other positive aspects of the hotel; particularly the sweets selection was underwhelming. As in all other all-inclusive hotels in Egypt local liquor is barely drinkable.

Happy vacation!

Very nice place, big modern room. A nice swiming pool near each unit, a big quiet nice swiming pool for those who want to relax. The beach too has a quite area for those who do not want to be disturbed. The beach is very clean. Very good food. Nice variation, good taste, big buffe with a lot of variation. Nice personal. Service minded, polite, friendly. Very good animation team, a lot of activities. I would defenetly like to stay in the hotel again.

There was no telefon network in the room I was staying in. It was not possible to call or recieve calls. There is no internet in the rooms either, not even to buy. It was very annoying.

Sparkly clean, variety of food and it is so tasty, amazing lentil soup :P, reception staff are great, the african restaurant staff "the one that you have to book a night prior to your planned dinner" are awesome, super friendly, maintenance department are professional and fast reponders :) Night shows are nice, pools are clean with low chlorine so your eyes won't hurt if you opened them under water, no coughing or allergy too.

Network signal is too weak, barely working, the hotel has a local time not the same time as the city which is confusing to Egyptians specifically, breakfast is too early as for the local time it's 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM village "hotel" time. The daily restaurant staff is good but some of them are a bit odd when they realize we are Egyptians :/ maybe cause they are used to foreigners, we were the only Egyptians in the hotel beside another family but that's not an excuse. Bazaar prices are overrated.

Fantastic!!! Exceeds expectations

The food and staff! amazing hotel very clean and beautiful. Definately recommend! I travelled with my mother. Will be going back, very romantic. would be perfect for couples. everything was perfect.~ Weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky. excellent excursions. Swam with wild dolphins and turtles. Rode a camel, what more could you want ..<3

More English speaking staff- but they speak English pretty well ! mainly German and Italian guests and hotel geared towards them. But was still amazing. PS from the UK not Malaysia.

All the staff are so polit and friendly the view is amazing and many swings on the beach so relaxing the food quality is very good but no variety.

The only bad thing is that there is no fish near the shore so if you can't swim you'll not be able to make snorkeling ????

Not up to expectations and rating

The fact that you can eat and drink around the clock without extra cost. The pizza at the pool is for my taste fantastic. The swimming pool had good water temperature. The room was clean as we arrived and AC worked fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Active but friendly and helpful international animation team.

The security guard at the gate was not so welcoming, and our access to the hotel was first denied, after short discussions and two calls two the reception we were allowed in. Small food buffet of poor quality and taste. Everything is quite old and only necessary renovations were done badly.
